| no partners | | | The East Desert Fire burned nearly 1500 acres from May 17th to May 22nd. Much of the damage was in the Cave Creek Regional Parks popular Overton and Go John Trails. Parked in the Overton lot and went CW. Started to see fire damage and fire retardant drops at about the 1.25 mile mark. At the Overton and Go John junction I turned left and turned around at the point the Maricopa Trail leaves the trail at a step over. When I return the same way it gives me a gentle 5 mile hike. I’ll post some photos. |
