Have not hiked in the Scottsdale McDowell Mountain Preserve in a while thinking it’s still very busy. Decided to give Fraesfield Trailhead a try this morning. At 7:30 AM there were only 7 vehicles in the lot and most looked like mountain bikers. Judy and I enjoyed the change in scenery but still not ready to stop at our Starbucks hangout yet on the way home.
