Clockwise. Very chilly as I had short-sleeved shirt so it was definitely a good thing I didn't do the other hike as I think I would have had to turn around. Didn't start to warm up a tad until a mile and the sun came out for a bit.
Started what ended up being a Stinknet eradication hike, thus the longer time. At first it was about a dozen here and there but then it ended up being a major weed pull at a drainage (still a lot there) and quite a bit at the TH. I was thinking, this preserve is pretty clean in the area where I hike but if a person or persons could spend about an hour, I think we could get most of what I saw. I'll tackle some more on my next hike there on Monday or Tuesday after work.
Trail was somewhat busy with people and dogs and about 4 bike riders. Some people with US flags hiked up and over the main Lookout Summit; tried to get a couple pics. |

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
