! The trail ends with a bit of a climb, but when you leave the trees behind and surface on the red rock - what a view! I think it is my favorite so far of all my Sedona hikes. I walked a bit beyond the signed trail end and climbed a tier or two and found a great overhang - probably carved by the wind - that provided shade and a great spot for an early lunch. Looking out at the immense canyon walls with all of the color and beauty surrounding me, had one of those OMG moments that only my fellow hikers can appreciate. Make sure you put this one on your list if you have not already experienced it.
