Started from Beverly Canyon TH in the dark. Up Ridgeline, Mormon Loop to Two Peaks, then west on National to the towers. Just before the towers I got on the paved road and walked up to the view point. Lots of cyclists coming and going from there.
Sun was mostly shaded by what looked like smoke. Didn't get warm until the last couple miles. Not nearly as many people out as I was expecting. Odd. Saw a coyote, two mice, a gecko, and various birds. :)
