Got going at o'dark thirty to avoid people and heat. Started up the Ridgeline at Beverly Canyon. Took it to Mormon Loop, up Two Peaks, through Hidden Valley (east to west) and back.
Saw two great horned owls, heard two others but didn't spot them. Saw a couple geckos before it got light. Heard two coyote packs, saw the usual night hawks on the upper part of Mormon Loop, and spotted some cottontails, quail...
Nice to get done early. :)
