Lots of people out and about as well - hikers, dog hikers, mountain bikers.
I did about 2 miles of wandering in the desert, looking for things to take pictures of. I knew the mountain would be basking in the golden hour light and I was hoping for a nice sunset as well. I heard some jostling in the brush and saw three Coues deer moving by. They did not seem to be bothered by me until I started moving.
This trail is flat and easy, but it is a really nice place to soak in the scenery and find yourself surrounded by beauty in all directions. The fact that it's 15 minutes from my house is amazing. |
