I needed to get a quick hike in before work and thought this one would fit the bill. I arrived at the Dam Rd at 545am and started up. I could see some nice looking clouds in the pre dawn sky and thought I might have a nice sunrise. The jeep road is the same as always and the trail up is looking good too.

There was a little chill in the air this morning, but it felt really good. I can still feel the summer heat in my memory. The views up top on this little peak are really amazing. The colors were already starting up even before I hit the edge of the cliff.

I brought some coffee with me this time and took a few pictures and drank my morning coffee while watching a very vibrant sunrise. Nobody but me, the sky, the wind and the scenery. A good way to start the day.
