Headed up to Spur Cross this morning for a trek on the Metate/Spur Cross loop. It was in the mid 40's when I got underway about 8:30. I met very few hikers during the morning and while I was hoping for bird pictures it was a very quiet morning bird wise. The gloves came off about halfway through but my long sleeve shirt stayed on the whole way. The views were beautiful in the clear air. Looking forward to my next visit already.
