| no partners | | | This looked like a good morning to start hiking again so it was off to the Apache Wash Trailhead. As I started driving I noticed that the sky was full of balloons. I pulled off at the Dixileta overpass to get some pictures and was soon joined by a few other cars with people doing the same. I left then stopped at the Circle K on Sonoran Desert Drive to get more pictures. That done I headed for the trailhead. I was headed for my favorite little loop, Sidewinder to Apache Wash to Ocotillo and back to the trailhead. The parking lot was pretty full when I arrived which accounted for all of the hikers and bikers that I would encounter on my way. I got a hello from most everybody, it was a beautiful morning and great to be back on the trails. No critters seen and the few birds that I saw were not cooperative in sitting long enough for a picture, |
