The entire Saturday was open so we decided to knock out as much stuff as we could out of First Water. The plan was to return to Battleship and La Barge Box and visit Peak 2830 for the first time.

Let me just say... Peak 2830 was the highlight of the day. This peak really tied the area together in my mind. I really like when you can see hikes you have done before from different angles. Peak 2830 scratched the off-trail itch.

For some reason this small peak doesn't get a lot of visitors. The last entry in the register was in 2018 and the one before that was 2013.
