Route 
The canyon is beautiful and there was some water, which was nice. At 1.84 miles in (including the side trecks mentioned above), there was a large pool in a narrows section. This pool was not passable staying dry and we didn’t have dry bags. We looked at a possible bypass route, but with wet/muddy shoes and slick rocks, it probably wasn’t the best idea. We opted to head back the way we came to drop back down into the canyon in another place. We passed the group again on our exit, and they said they’d planned on swimming through. Some were in jeans, so I’m not sure how that would’ve gone... the rest of our trip continued in my next log.
