Day 2 of a 4 day journey through passages 4 - 7. Mostly uneventful trek until I made my way down to Bowman Spring. I intended to set up camp at there, which had plenty of water. But after seeing the bones strung up on a rope and hanging from a tree, plus all the bear scat, headed straight back to the trail and kept going. I found a wonderful oak tree in a pasture and camped for the night. The next morning I got to meet trail angel Cooper, who had just left chairs, water, snacks and a garbage bag at FR 62. Made my day! Kentucky camp was INCREDIBLE!!!
