met john at 0415 to do hidden valley via geronimo
slightly different version this time, going up to the benchmark, then down guadalupe ridgeline
took a use trail and some boulder hopping to the top of hidden valley
made a side trip to one of two peaks, then headed back on national
just enough moonlight to see going up geronimo
shade or cloud cover most of the hike, very little breeze
a few other hikers and mountain bikers
nice sunrise, nice morning
done before 0800
