Today was much better and there was no rain forecasted for the next couple days. This seems to be a popular place for people to visit and I can see why, each time we were there their were a couple cars in the parking lot. The falls is visible from the Rio Penasco dirt road which is about 3.7 miles in from the Sunspot Highway. The spring is about .2 miles up the hill from the falls. All the water coming over the falls is coming from the spring. This is worth the stop to do the less than a mile round trip trek to the falls and Spring. |
