| no partners | | Identified 4 or 5 places near Winslow that were worth a look and came up with a plan to get out of town on the forecast temperature dip. Unfortunately I ran into several locked gates which stymied me and by mid-afternoon on day one I was at the last site for my two day plan.
I didn't expect much from that location but it turned out to have nice petroglyphs, saving the day.
I camped out at the Winslow EconoLodge and came up with a new plan for the next day. But once again, locked gates ruined all that and so I just took the long way home enjoying the weather and countryside and arrived in time for Friday Happy Hour. |
