| no partners | | After last weekend's disappointing and lackluster fall showing up on the rim, I decided to check out a new area for me at this time of year. I've seen a few haz posts from the area over the years and put them in my memory bank of places I should make an effort to visit one fall. The timing finally worked out to check it out this year. Turns out my calendar aligned with nature's calendar and resulted in a slow and lazy meandering hike and exploration of canyons and ridges, corners and straightaways full of explosions of color and beauty. It was a delightful day!
