This road has captivated me since my trip up to Pine Mountain last year. How exactly do you build a road down the Verde Rim? It turns out it's not real easy to do well. Check out the photoset for visual representation of the folly. Incidentally, I think I would drive this if it were dry and I knew there were no impassable obstacles. No your, Subaru will be crunched into a Bud Light can likeness of a car. Your stock truck will never return. 4-lo and this better not be your first rodeo.
If I were the boss of everything and everyone, I would convert this trail to wilderness. Very conveniently taking Pine Mountain and Cedar Bench and putting them together. This is a great trail! The road kinda has the vibe of Bob Bear's older tweaker brother who is losing his teeth to meth.
Hot Springs were empty except for me and Luna. Ranch has seen better days. |
