Hiked with Brian after hiking up to the double arch. We could have split these hikes into different days, but we decided we wanted a workout. It was a pretty good trail the entire way. Well maintained for being such a remote area. There were amazing views from many areas. The mountain is shaped a bit like a horseshoe, and although long, it was an enjoyable and unique hike. We saw many organ pipe cactuses, and many amazing rock formations on the way up. At the top there was a huge metal box used for the registry, larger than any other registry I've seen. Also, a solar panel matrix and some antennas on the rock just North of where the registry was. We had good cell phone service at the top. Bull pasture didn't look much like a pasture at all. We thought maybe the pasture would have been the area down in the canyon more and we were looking down on it? Note: my total AEG was 318 feet higher than what the guide says. Not sure why.
