| no partners | | | Did some exploring up on the Nantac Rim. First time in this area and I have to say the area is a gem. Cliff dwellings, tons of water features and pines. A bit humid as it rained briefly in the morning but temps in the mid 70's were perfect. Checked out the dwellings, Point of Pines and Dry lakes and found a really cool tank where the fish were jumping out of the water trying to catch the bugs on the water (Upper Clover Tank). Maybe a handful at Point of Pines Lake and say no one else the entire day. Picked up a day rec pass at the Circle K in Globe which was $10, well worth it for the area. |
