Another in the series of my years-long quest to travel all the miles this creek covers as it cuts through Arizona brought us to a 4-day trip in the wildest of places. The weather cooperated nicely with warm days that made the chilly swims enjoyable and pleasant sleeping conditions.

We found a great beach for camping ... one of very few options along the miles I've knocked off here. And the surprise of the weekend, we saw another group of adventurers! Of course, we also found their used tp and disgusting surface feces on our hike out, so hopefully that's a group that just decides to stay home next time they consider heading into the wilderness.

A couple of stretches we passed through are as nice as any I've seen, and deserving of another visit.
