Pack on the back for 5 days; several glacial cirque lakes in a pretty popular area but I was able to have most of the place to myself. Drive up had to backtrack a little as my chosen route thru the res had some significantly flooded roads and I got tired of having to stop and reconnoiter to see if I could make it.

Day one nice up through the meadows and trees, boggy trail in spots and small waterfalls. Camped at the foot of the 1500 foot gain switchbacks to access the lake I wanted.
Day two, up and up, lots of treefall making the trail a bit of a pain. Two couples coming out confirmed I would likely be the only one up there. I was. Great campspot lakeside. Rain started late in the afternoon and the next 14 hours pounded off and on, with lightning and thunder for about an hour. Crazy wind and sideways rain for a while. Long tent time with reading. New MSR Hubba solo held up well, no leaks.
Day three, out from there after some morning hiking in the soggy, foggy basin. Wore my rain pants because everything was wet and covered the pack. Once down hiking in the mainstem to near the foot of the next basin I wanted to see. Saw moose, deer and lots of squirrels around. Camped near a nice slide waterfall area off the main trail. Saw two hikers.
Day four, up and up again, super rocky trail, minimal tree fall although lots of dead trees back in here, from bark beetle, drought or just winter kill not sure. Nice waterfalls off the trail, some scrambling sans pack for pics. Camped off a huge meadow ringed by big walls. Daypack up to the cirque lake, a big one and popular, but saw no one at the lake. Some sun out which was nice because mostly cloudy and some rain every day this trip.
Day five, day hike to a smaller nearby lake off the route. Started out and saw lots of people coming up. Boy scout troops and leaders. Some of the kids looked like they were having lots of fun ( sarcasm here). I was praised by several people ( old lady out by herself on some demanding terrain???) anyway I was glad I was leaving because it looked to be a huge busy party up where I last was.
Started the drive out, and car camped on the way home near a spot I had been before with the bonus of some archaeo in the area. Some storms and rainbows.
Great trip, despite not being in good shape able to get'er done, and enjoy myself immensely in the process.
