| no partners | | There is a place past Turkey Flats that had a really good place to pick up pyrite.
After a few good rains it's easy to find.
The hike to the mine before the cleanup was a bushwhack but not too bad.
It's totally gone'
The two shafts are covered with big iron grates.
From there we hit Soldier Basin.
The road has been worked really well.
before it was scary. Easy trip to the small rock house at the end of the road.
Headed to the North on another road that was graded as well.
I really wish they had either not graded the last 200 feet or put up a sign that indicate there was no turn around. A couple of test digs out that way.
I think Flux Canyon is on the other side of the ridge.
Took another road to the South and came up that way.
Some really cool mining artifacts. One looked like a big rock bathtub. |
