Did the loop counter clockwise, with a stop at the summit of 2484 just off National/north end of the loop. Lots of new sign posts along both trails, but no labels yet. The trail has been worked on just below the big mines and now diverts hikers away from the lower mine. Lots of freshly dislodged rocks along both trails— I know they consider this to be “maintenance”, but it’s mostly just annoying. Cool, cloudy, and a nice breeze. Saw a boy, about 12 years old, attempting to ride/push his bike up Lost Mine. I suggested to him that maybe a trail like that wasn’t the best idea to ride up or down solo and without a helmet. He turned around and headed back down. Kids…
