I hadn't been to Bartlett Lake in many years, so when Bruce suggested a hike there I quickly volunteered to attend.
Started out hiking with temps in the 50's, but a stiff breeze made it feel much cooler. Good for hiking.
First part of the hike was on developed trails along the lake. Lots of twists and turns, ups and downs.
As we hiked north we left the trails and followed washes and an old FS road that can't pass for a road anymore. The final leg had a bit of asphalt then down a wash, up a trail to finish at the car.
Bruce spotted a couple eagles, of course.
Pretty hike. Always good to fly with an Eagle.
