| no partners | | I thought I'd hike the BCT this weekend. I took my daughter and her fiance out to dinner at Chileen's on 17 in Black Canyon City, then they dropped me off at the trailhead.
This trail winds around a lot. I stopped to find a geocache on an old windmill that the trail passes right by. It was a good time to stop as it was getting dark enough where I had to get my headlamp out. Climbed up and found the cache, then continued on.
I wasn't paying attention, and followed the road past where I was planning to camp, so backtracked a bit. Setting up camp was quick as I just layed out a sheet of polycro and cowboy camped. |
