Out with my wife today. We were planning on doing the Dixie Mountain Loop, but the Desert Vista trailhead parking was full. We started heading to the Apache Wash trailhead, but I figured that area would be a zoo, so we headed to the Desert Hills trailhead instead. There was plenty of parking available with not many cars in the lot.

We headed out on the Ocotillo Trail, planning a counterclockwise loop on it and the Sidewinder Trail. We had a pretty fun walk, enjoying the wildflowers. There were some cyclists out, but they were never a problem.

The only downside to the trip was when my wife stumbled and fell very near the end, where she got a few minor scrapes.
