I've been wanting to get back to Perry Mesa for a look around but the fear-of-mud delayed it a bit. Driving in today the roads were beat up but passable and dry.

I parked at the New Windmill and walked a loop through the grass and small stones to the edge of Baby Canyon and then back around. I've made several previous trips to this area and there is plenty to see, but the plan today was to walk new ground.

Unfortunately I didn't find much I hadn't seen before: a minor petroglyph or two, a small ruin, a couple concentrations of pottery. But good to be out on a nice day before it heats up.
