| no partners | | | Checked out Lost Canyon--it was the perfect temperature for Sedona area hiking, keeping in mind that I live in Flagstaff and can't handle the heat! There were a few other cars in the parking lot, but I didn't see a soul until a group of new agers hiked the canyon bottom to the little house. They made alot of noise all the way up, then tried to play flute music at the house, but I think the tape player was low on batteries! I continued up canyon, trying to reach the end, but didn't make it (no trail, thick vegetation). Then I took the trail around the other side of the canyon for a ways, just to check out the view. On the way back to the Jeep, I gave the "staircase" some maintenance (trail karma). |
