| partners | | | Return to Lost Canyon this week. This time we drove up FS152 to the Brin's Mesa trail and started from there to see if we could connect up with where we left off last week. Made a side trip to the upper ruins. As stated before, it takes some effort to get there. Observed the lower ruins from the cliff side high above. Continued around on the easy to follow trail and did make it all the way to where we left off last week. There are some sketchy sections, but nothing as terrible as we had imagined. Turned back and followed a side trail down the mesa to FS152 and followed the road back to the Jeep. Didn't see a single person on the trail and we were the sole vehicle at the trail head. |
