Bruce organized a three day trip to the White Mountains. Kelly and I joined him.
I had not hiked any of the trails in the area before and I was looking forward to new scenery.
We started hiking in the afternoon following the drive up. Nice stands of aspen as we began, giving way to huge Wallow Fire burn area that are recovering with small aspen growth.We climbed most of the way up the fire tower for some good long range views.
Good first hike.
