| no partners | | Another section. Quiet, no people, saw some javelina. One juvenile had 2-3 inches of hair standing straight up along his or her back lending a bit of a hilarious appearance.
A rancher quad trail for a bit, some crawling under fences, then a very good cow, people, varmint trail on the benches. The flooding had hammered the area with lots of deadfall to get around. Creek itself was sometimes the best route, with notable deep spots. Surprisingly the coolness of the water left my feet numb for a bit. About mid 80's when I got back to the Jeep, nice temps but ready for it to be cooler already! |
