Kelly asked if I'd be interested in hiking to Thompsom Peak from Adero Canyon. I had not made the connection between the two hiking areas before, so it sounded interesting. Bruce had been hiking quite a bit this week and brought him along to help in his suffering.
We got started to chilly temps and a nice sunrise with views of fog along the Verde River. Didn't take long for us to warm up and shed extra clothes.
The steep hike up Thompson, as always, is almost enough to make you cry. Felt good to summit again.
Nice hiking on the Lower Sonoran trail returning.
Fun hiking with the seniors again!
