Since we are both now retired, Kelly and I decided we have plenty of time to go hike in the Superstitions. I suggested the Weavers Needle Crosscut trail which I hadn't been on since 2009.
We started up Bluff Springs trail on an overcast morning much to our delight. We poked around a couple small mines along the way. Just over a half mile on the Terrapin we exited to the crossover trail at a well cairned junction. This trail goes through some really cool rock formations ending up joining the Peralta trail. We hiked up to Fremont Saddle taking a break listening to hen party. Wow.
Saw quite a few folks on the way back down to the trailhead.
