angela planned another hike while deborah is still in the valley
we met up at the chevron station, then took my car to the trailhead
more campers than usual along peralta road, which was in great shape
wave cave parking was overflowing; just five cars at lost goldmine
we went west four miles, turning around at the road on the west side of turk's head
good cloud cover after a couple of miles
the desert is very green right now
we saw poppies and lupine
nice scenery along this trail
aside from the approach to 5057 a year ago, i hadn't been on it in ten years
we took a break at the turn around, and made a few other photo stops
angela brought beers and root beer for after the hike
deborah's little dog duke is a sweetheart
mexican food in AJ capped off a great day
