Went out to the Peralta foothills via the Hieroglyphic TH for a Sunday hike. Made it up as I went along to try to get to 7 or 8 miles. the 2nd half of the hike I saw quite a few cattle. Some ran away and others lingered and stared as I walked by.

It was hot at first as the sun hit the horizon and then when the clouds came out things got cooler. Saw a few bikers here and there but no other hikers.
