Second week in a row we ventured into the Superstitions.
Besides two people early on, we didn't see anybody the entire hike.
Wildflowers are still very strong. Foxtail is plentiful. Mostly purple but drying out. Running water in some unlikely places.
Lizards are out in full force. Saw a dback.
Barkley Basin is looking a bit better than the last time I saw it. I doubt it will ever recover from the fire.
