Beautiful day, great company, wonderful hike! :)

Trail in good shape. Lots of water around after the rain a week ago; many large clear pools in all wash areas. Lots of big groups going backpacking. Parking lot full. Peralta Road is in great shape, a little rough between the main lot and the overflow but not bad.

I posted a photo of a pipe sticking up near the junction of of bluff spring and Dutchman trails, about 10 feet northwest of the trail junction. Not sure what that is about.
