A few weeks ago, we did a night hike on this loop. We loved it so much, that we decided to do another round. Got on the trail about 7:45 pm. Didn't encounter another soul, other than a couple of folks sitting in their cars at the parking lot--both before we left, and another after we returned (post-midnight).

Anyhoo, the trail was lovely and with a slight breeze, the temperatures were great. Added a trip up to the Wind Cave as well.

With the 2/3 moon, navigation without headlamp was possible for much of the trail.
