Hiked this last summer when my two youngest kids were in town. The goal was to get out of the heat, but it was still pretty warm out there! Nice views of Jerome at the "destination" lookout. The trail continues on, but we turned around and opted to drive up to the top of Mingus and check it out before stopping for dinner at Mainstage in Cottonwood--good food; reasonable prices!
