My vehicle will never touch either of the top two approach roads. We drove both of them, neither one is great, one is horrendous.

The hike on the other hand, was great per usual, with some excellent conditions. There were also pretty recent signs of trail maintenance and the trail was in the best shape that I have seen it. The wilderness sign is looking new and sharp too. Nice hiking and the usual big views at the end. We passed three hikers on the way out, which may be the most I have ever seen in the area before.

Great day out and a fair amount of driving for less than six miles of hiking, but the payoff was worth it. It was nice getting out with Chumley for yet another Veterans Day hike.
