Moderately busy. Passed 6 couples throughout the hike. Despite the popularity, we still enjoyed plenty of solitude. We also still lost the trail a few times with other game/social trails even though much of the trail is well worn now. Great views of the river at the summit and along the canyon edge. Bit toasty here in early spring, so probably wouldn’t want to do it again in the mid-80s. The ocotillo were blooming all over. Overall a solid hike.
