The fair celebrated the centennial of the Louisiana Purchase and featured the wireless telephone, x-ray machine, and electric streetcars.
The park is currently home to the St. Louis zoo, and offers lots of open and forested recreation opportunities.
Great for an in-town run, walk, bike, or canoe/kayak on the ponds.
While in town, we also visited the famous Gateway National Park, and hit up a ball game a Busch Stadium, which offers impressive views of the arch and downtown St. Louis. |
