| no partners | | Signed up for a typical touristy bike tour of the city. Not too challenging from a biking perspective, but a fun way to get familiar with the city. Sydney is a pretty cool place. Learned that there was a lot of opposition to the Opera House, which went waaaaay over budget and took forever to complete. The folks on the opposite side of the harbor thought it would devalue their property--they were definitely wrong about that!
We also did a lot of walking around the city and a walking tour of the Opera House. That was a highlight as well as the botanical gardens near the Opera House. |
