Quite the day. Back into an area I haven't been in a long time. Remember now how I liked it. Not much water though, but some. Migrant shrine, tiny fawn, flowers, chased briefly by the border patrol. I think he was a little perturbed when I jumped out of my vehicle and held my hand up to get the photo; I had already missed the best light. Storms around, scattered. Some big Caltrop spreads although looking a bit cooked close up. From what I was told the illegals are cutting thru the backways thru some ranches to avoid the checkpoints. Back to what they were doing before the border was pretty much open. Same old.
