Followed FR 777 till I made it to the base after finding a geocache along the way. Hiked up the road cut, which gains about 300' in .2 miles, so a bit steep, and since it's a cinder cone you lose half a step for every step you take. Found a SOG Salute Mini knife halfway up. Made it to the rim and started heading up clockwise to the summit. Stopped near the eastmost high point and found a lonely geocache (last logged in September 2022). Soon made it to the summit and found the summit log, its a blue glass jar placed between two boulders. There are dates going as far back as 1976, so its been up here awhile. Continued the loop and headed back down, though I ended up on my butt twice on the way down. Soon made it back to where I left the truck. Enjoyable hike.
Short video of the summit and views.
