My girlfriend and I are half way through a little four day trip to Sedona, so I am hiking and seeing more of this area than I ever have before. This was a new trail for me and I generally thought it was great. It was a nice little, engaging, steep climb to the saddle and there were some nice colors among some younger trees along the way. The colors got a little better after the saddle and the trail more tame. We hiked to the first spot we could see the arch from and then turned around. We returned the way we hiked in and were grateful for a few wispy clouds that provided us with some shade on our descent.
