Decided to hike up here and place a geocache at the summit. Parked near the "gun range" area and headed up. Had to go up from where I parked as there were people camping at the "gun range" and didn't want them to start shooting if I was on top of their shooting area. Started up and regretted not wearing pants, as that slowed my progress as I had to avoid cacti and catclaw the entire way up. Soon made it to the summit and found the summit lot. Signed the summit log and headed down. Ended up going straight down to the old stone dam, then followed the wash back to where I parked. Also found the wreckage of an ancient car buried in the wash area.
