| no partners | | First snow of the season! The forecast called for only half an inch, but we received at least two inches, maybe three in places around Round Valley.
By the time I got out there, midday, most of the snow had melted off the trail, which is covered in black cinders. I was surprised how many people I saw walking, probably around 10 or so. The temperature was around 34 degrees, but there was no wind at all, so it didn't feel too cold.
I didn't see any wildlife or interesting birds to speak of. |
