Denny is usually good for a short hike but he tricked me. We ended up hiking 10 miles. I never hiked up the lower section of FR626 before. The grade is easy and the road smoother than I remember when I drove it about 10 years back.
The weather was nice and cool. We saw someone pull into the parking area as we hiked up. We saw Wade on our hike down. He was going to the top. Maybe next trip Denny will want to go to the summit.
